Many athletes assume that fasting means they must completely pause their physical activities. While rest is important, stopping training entirely for a month can disrupt momentum, reduce stamina, and affect performance — especially with tournaments approaching.
In the short term, a long break may cause:

- Loss of muscle memory
- Lower endurance and focus
In the long term, it can delay progress and slow down competitive development.
